SAP Partner Experience

Wednesday, April 16
14:00 – 14:45
Main Stage

It took a while and a lot of hard work, but a cross functional team at SAP—the global leader in business software and software-related services—overcame the obstacles and soon will deliver a simplified and personalized web experience for partners. This project is a great example of how best practices derived from art and an artistic mindset can make a professional organization more successful and provide joy to those involved. Curiosity and observation, creativity and improvisation, collaboration and open communication are core competencies for artists and knowledge workers alike —in the future more than ever. In addition, determination and persistence, agility and adaptability, supported by good leadership and a little bit of luck, bred success. Dirk will use SAP's partner experience project as an example to illustrate that skills, competencies, methods and approaches that are required for individuals, leaders and organizations in the knowledge age can be found in the arts, in particular by observing and learning how artists perform their work.
